Experience China's Ancient Capitals: Xinjiang
Xinjiang is an autonomous region of China, located in the northwest border, known as China’s “Pearl” and “Jiangnan Hero”. Xinjiang is a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural region with rich natural scenery and unique folk culture. Traveling to Xinjiang, you can visit natural landscapes such as the Tianshan Mountains, the Taklimakan Desert, and Kanas Lake, and feel the magnificence and mystery of nature. In addition, you can also visit historical and cultural attractions such as the ancient city of Kashgar, the famous Silk Road ruins, and the Kuche Grand Canyon to appreciate Xinjiang’s unique cultural heritage. During your trip to Xinjiang, you can also taste delicious hand-pulled rice, roasted whole lamb and other specialties, and experience a different style and flavor from the mainland. Xinjiang’s blue sky, white clouds, vast grasslands and unique ethnic culture will leave you with unforgettable travel memories.

Travel Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Urumqi Capital International Airport , your dedicated tour guide will greet you outside the baggage claim area. During the transfer to your pre-booked four or five-star hotel in the city center, your guide will share insights about Urumqi’s rich history and key landmarks. The remainder of the day is yours to explore this fascinating city at your own pace.

Go to Turpan in the morning and visit Tuyugou Village in the evening to experience the traditional lifestyle of the Uyghur people. Explore the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves and see the Huoyan Mountain on the way. Visit the ruins of Jiaohe Ancient City. This amazing city was not built from the ground up, but from the heights down!

Walk leisurely in the old city of Kashgar, you can see green vines climbing up the mud buildings and children chasing each other. Visit the largest mosque in Xinjiang and admire the beauty of Islamic architecture in the quiet tomb of the great Uyghur poet.
Then go to Kashgar Grand Bazaar, which is famous throughout Asia. This ancient market attracts locals and merchants from all over Xinjiang and neighboring countries such as Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan.
If you go there on Sunday, you will have the opportunity to see the livestock market, where people bring livestock to trade and shear wool. Walk from the old town to the handicraft street, walk into the shops, touch the semi-finished handicrafts, and feel the timbre of exotic musical instruments.
Rest in the ancient teahouse with a history of more than 100 years, where many locals gather to chat, drink tea, play music, dance, and spend the whole afternoon.

Drive along the China-Pakistan Highway and enjoy the rare scenery of the westernmost part of China.
Surrounded by white sand dunes, lush grasslands and poplar forests, the white sand dunes and the blue lake form a sharp contrast, giving people a sense of tranquility and peace.
Visit one of China’s best-kept secrets: Karakul Lake, a sparkling glacial lake. During the 3-hour drive, you may want to ask the driver to stop and take pictures because the scenery is breathtaking. The scenery and the lake will inspire the photographer potential in you.
The snow-capped Muztagh Ata and other tall peaks are like a row of sturdy guards guarding this land.
