On this 6-day private tour, you can experience local nomadic life, enjoy the wonderful scenery of the alpine meadows of Huitengxile Grassland, hike in the majestic Yinshan Mountains, explore the heart of the Kubuqi Desert away from civilization, and enjoy Mongolian handicrafts.
Travel Itinerary
When you arrive in Hohhot, your private driver and guide will be at your service. Enjoy a hassle-free transfer service to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Hohhot.
In the morning, head to Huitengxile Grassland (2 hours drive), visit Huanghuagou, and enjoy the natural beauty of strange rocks and peaks, colorful alpine meadows, etc.
In the afternoon, enjoy Mongolian songs and dances, watch Mongolian archery and wrestling, ride horses through the quiet Huitengxile hinterland, and feel the vastness and beauty of the grassland.
In the evening, after participating in the bonfire party with ethnic characteristics, stay overnight in a traditional Mongolian yurt.
Enjoy the sunrise on the grassland and take a 2-hour drive to Daqing Mountain, which is part of the Yinshan Mountain Range. The Yinshan Mountain Range is bounded by the Mongolian Plateau in the north and the Hetao Plain in the south.
The hike takes about 5 hours, passing through the ancient birch forest and climbing to the top of Daqing Mountain, where you can enjoy the magnificent natural beauty.
Overnight in Hohhot.
Depart from Yemingsha in the morning and drive for 3 hours to Kubuqi Desert. Enjoy a fulfilling camel ride deep into the heart of Kubuqi Desert. Enjoy the magnificent view of the desert sunset, enjoy a barbecue dinner, camp in the desert, watch the incredible starry sky, and enjoy an unforgettable wilderness experience.
In the morning, enjoy the desert sunrise.
Then drive to the heart of Kubuqi Desert away from the hustle and bustle, and experience the excitement of sliding down the sand dunes at 45° by off-road vehicle, which lasts about half an hour. Return to Hohhot in the afternoon and visit the Inner Mongolia Museum.
Your private guide and driver will take you to Hohhot Airport/Railway Station for departure.

- This is a small group tour with a fixed itinerary and guaranteed departures.

- The tour guide may adjust the itinerary due to closure of the museums each Monday.
- At the conclusion of the tour, a transfer from your hotel to Hongqiao or Pudong Airport in Shanghai is available upon request at a surcharge.
